Macrame Wall Hangings!

So I went through a three week or so addiction to making macrame over the summer...... I pretty much just made one thing after another, trying out different knots and colors and techniques. I guess there are worse things to be addicted to! So basically I made lots of little things over a short period of time but didn't have any process pictures, so I'm just gonna share some pictures of finished ones and a little bit about them!

I love this small simple one, and it was super quick and easy to make! It was the first time I tried one that had some curve to it rather than just straight! And it pretty much just uses square knots!

This next one is one of my favorites because of its purpose.... I made it to hold dog poop bags! Part of me want to unroll all the bags and take them apart and have one stick out of each of the holes..........

It was the first bag I made and I love how the top can tighten and loosen!

My Autumn macrame!

This rounded pattern is really fun to do but it does require A LOT of strands of chord because each new row has to have a new one added on every single time.... but totally worth it I think! This is the first one where I tried out using other ribbons and strings and stuff in the bottom dangly part,

There's also a couple of fake fall leaves added in there too! I just used a little hole puncher on the leaves and strung them on!

The black and gold one is one I made for my mom for her birthday... The college she teaches at has black and gold colors, so I made it for her office! And this was the first one I did using the circle frame! The pattern for this was more like weaving than macrame. I definitely want to experiment making more with circle frames like this!

And this is one I made for my niece! Inspiration from this one came from seeing that hot pink chunky yarn for sale for 50 cents! I made this before making any of the plant holders, so I did want to test out making something with a pouch! Adorable for holding a stuffed animal!
